The Best Cheap Football Boots in 2020

Football boots don’t have to be expensive because at the end of the day it is what you give on the field. Today I’m going to review the best cheap football boots in 2020 that is available on the market. If your current football boots are torn right now and decided to buy a new one, but you have limited money to spend on. Then you come to the right place, stick around to find out more!

There are so many reviews about top-end football boots and often is the most expensive model of football boots on the internet. Usually, it’s out of some people’s price range, but this time hopefully you can save some money by considering these boots. These are the boots that actually provide value for money. Although it is not a high-end model, you’ll still get a fantastic pair of football boots.

Appearance – 9/10

From afar these boots look actually similar to the elite model which will cost twice as much, unfortunately. It comes with various choices of colourways that you can pick from and keep renewing every month. I personally went for the pink colourway as these are the ones that were available at that time.

Big Nike swoosh on the outer side of each boot. A written “MERC” logo is on the inside part of the boot. A trademark kinda-like logo is on the heel side of the cleat. The soleplate is split designed in the same shape as the elite ones. It might feel a bit strange if it is the first time you wear this type of soleplate.

Fit – 8.5/10

The pro model offers the same lightweight boot. They are constructed with one-piece circular knit instead of fly knit but still giving that softness around your foot. It is also super thin which gives you a sharp sensation on the ball in combination with a decent texture as well. Bear in mind that the first time when I tried these boots on, it is not completely comfortable out of the box. It still needs a breaking time process.

Also, I have pretty wide feet and Mercurial tend to be for a narrow footed player. So, I felt a bit uncomfortable in the first couple of weeks wearing these. Luckily, now it fits and moulded my feet perfectly. So don’t worry for you guys out there who actually in love with the mercurial but also have wide feet. It will eventually mould and shaped your own feet unless you have excessively wider feet than mine. With this being said, it does prove their feature which is anatomical 360 fit shape for a streamlined fit on foot.

Durability – 9/10

In terms of durability, I’ve been using these boots for 5 months. The good thing is there is no sign of tearing on the boots. But note that I bought the AG version of these boots. I often use them on artificial turf pitches and sometimes natural grass pitches.

You better buy the correct stud pattern and use them on the right surface. Eventually, these boots will last longer than you expect. Especially the AG version, they provide you with an extra layer of material in the midsole to ensure they don’t wear off easily.

Buy Mercurial Vapor 13 Pro – £90

In conclusion, Nike Mercurial Vapor 13 Pro is a value for money football boots that offer high-quality material and provide the user with a great footballing performance on the pitch considering the price point of the boots. Even though the boots offer anatomical 360 fit shapes, if you have excessively wide feet, probably these boots might not be suited for you.
